We are proud to announce the delivery of our newly purchased Funktion One Resolution loudspeaker system!

As much as the Turbosound Floodlight system was a great system, we recently decided to explore the options available to us that would bring us right up to date with technology and enable us to deliver true tier-one service to our clients. We are still resolutely convinced that point-source technology is the right solution, at least for the size of venues we generally operate in, and so that really limited the number of manufacturers that we could audition. After a full day of auditioning there was one clear winner: The Funktion One Resolution system. 

At the same time as upgrading the speakers, we took the opportunity to swap out the amplifiers for MC2 Audio E-series amplifiers, and to boost the power of the system overall. For those that like to talk about watts and kilowatts, we have somewhere in the region of 18.5kW on the front-of-house system after the upgrade. For those that know watts don't mean much, particularly when one loudspeaker can produce four or more times the acoustic level per watt than another for reasons of pure efficiency, the new system is well suited to indoor and outdoor events up to approximately 2,000 people.
